Bottom-of-the-barrel oil prices continued to drag down Texas’ job growth in February as the state added 7,100 jobs — the smallest monthly job gain since October 2011. February was the second straight month of slower growth, according to data released March 27 by the Texas Workforce Commission. The state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 4.3 percent, down from 4.4 percent in January 2015.
