Whitey Bulger To File Appeal Of Murder Convictions Aug. 14

Convicted serial-slayer mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger’s much-anticipated appeal of his two life sentences will land Aug. 14 in Boston’s U.S. Court of Appeals for the First District, his public defenders alerted the court today.“Mr. Bulger will argue on appeal that his right to a fair trial was prejudiced by both erroneous rulings of the trial court and acts and/or omissions by the government before and during trial,” attorneys James Budreau and Hank B.
