Why Amazon Would Want To Buy Online Retailer Net-a-porter

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Amazon is reportedly in talks to buy high-fashion online retailer Net-A-Porter, but if the deal comes to fruition, what does Amazon gain? Women's Wear Daily first reported the talks, claiming that Amazon could spend as much as $2.16 billion acquiring Net-A-Porter.
