By Kimberly Palmer | NerdWallet While financial fraud can happen to anyone, older adults face unique challenges when it comes to scams, which are increasingly common among that age group. Losses due to scams targeting those age 60 or older ballooned to $3.4 billion last year, an increase of 11% over the previous year, according to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.
