Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog played a resilient role late Friday night in Anaheim, giving his team the extra point in a 3-2 overtime triumph over the Ducks.
Immediately after failing to convert on a 2-on-1 rush with Cale Makar, Landeskog retrieved his own rebound, skated behind the net, and used a wrap-around stuff-in shot to defeat goalie John Gibson and the Ducks at Honda Center.
