PULASKI, Va. — Kingsport pitching had a hard time finding the strike zone Thursday night and the Mets dropped a 7-2 Appalachian League decision to Pulaski. The K-Mets outhit the Yankees 6-5 but their hurlers doled out nine walks to accompany seven wild pitches. Pulaski wasn’t exactly honing in either, yielding six bases on balls, plunking two batters and serving up one wild pitch. Still, the seven pitchers who took the mound combined to record 26 strikeouts, 14 of those courtesy of Kingsport.
