Winchester Girls Soccer Sews Up League Title

In a battle of Middlesex League division champions, Liberty Division winner Winchester defeated Freedom Division titleholder Stoneham, 3-1 on Friday, Oct. 26.The Spartans took an early lead in the fifth minute. They held on to the lead for 30 minutes before Winchester’s Katie Degnan won a head ball near midfield and knocked it to winger Anna Carazza.
