The Winchester High boys and girls Nordic ski teams both started the season with strong performances in the first race of the season for the Mass Bay West League.The WHS boys and girls each finished fifth in the Massachusetts Bay West league. The WHS Nordic team has over 40 skiers.In the girls race Hannah Piispanen finished in third place over the 4.2-kilometer course.
