The reasons preventing many individuals with ties to Winchester – teachers, town workers, senior citizens and young professionals – to live in town seem to boil down to two things: affordability and a limited housing options.The median price for a single-family home in Winchester exceeds $1 million, according to the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC).
