Winchester's Opioid Death Rate Decreases In 2017

So far, Winchester is on track to see fewer opioid deaths in 2017 than in previous years. As of late November, Winchester's first responders reported six opioid deaths since the beginning of the year. Erica McNamara from the Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse discussed the challenges of opioid addiction and shared the data on Winchester’s opioid death rate at a local Rotary Club meeting on Nov.
