A cold front off the Northern California’s coast was expected to sweep south into Tuesday morning, bringing with it lower temperatures and high winds, which were already blowing through parts of the Bay Area on Monday evening. The breezy conditions are expected to last through Wednesday, with winds of 15 to 20 mph in most places and gusts of up to 50 mph along the coast and ridges in the East Bay, Anderson said. Temperatures are predicted to drop as the winds pick up, with areas along the coast barely reaching 60 degrees and inland spots hovering in the mid-60s.
