WINSTED -- The director of special education has resigned. Superintendent of Schools Anne Watson informed school board members who oversee the town's three elementary schools in an email early Monday afternoon that Director of Pupil Services Ania Czajkowski had submitted her resignation. Watson did not say whether Czajkowski gave a reason.
