MILWAUKEE (AP) — Here's a look at the candidates running for the U.S. House in Wisconsin's eight congressional districts, with basic biographical information: Republican vice presidential candidate in 2012. CAREER — Started and operated two small businesses in corporate food management and catering, which were sold in 2008. EDUCATION— Bachelor's degree, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1986. EDUCATION— Bachelor's degree, Princeton University, 1978; doctorate, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1988. CAREER — Taught mathematics, statistics and computer science at UW-Madison, UW-Whitewater, Beloit College and Madison College. Worked as a computer programmer and trained computer programmers. EDUCATION— Bachelor's degree, Harvard University; master's degree, London School of Economics; law degree, University of Minnesota. Serves on boards of Boys and Girls Club of La Crosse and Coulee Council on Alcohol and Addictions. EDUCATION— Bachelor's degree, Embry-Riddle University, 1989; master's degree, Troy State University, 1997. Worked for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority before serving in the state Assembly from 1989 to 1992 and state Senate from 1993 to 2004. EDUCATION— High school graduate; The Leadership Institute, 2009. Served as chief of Naval Operations Intelligence Staff during the Reagan administration. EDUCATION— Bachelor's degree, Stanford University, 1965; law degree, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1968. CAREER — Technical marketing engineer for Mentor Graphics Corp.
