CETNIEWO, Poland (AP) — Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland has bettered her own hammer world record with a mark of 266 feet at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial Throws Festival. After opening with a foul Saturday, Wlodarczyk became the first woman to throw beyond 80 meters — 262 feet, 5 inches — when she added nearly 5 feet to her own world record of 261-1 set last year at the ISTAF athletics meet in Berlin. Alexandra Tavernier of France finished second at 253-8. Wlodarczyk won gold at the 2009 world championships before finishing second at the London Olympics in 2012 and the 2013 worlds.
