A good Samaritan pulled an elderly woman from her car Thursday evening in Sunnyvale just before an oncoming train crushed the vehicle, officials said. The woman, who is in her 70s, found her life in danger when the car got stuck on the tracks around 6 p.m., Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said.
