A woman driving a vehicle without a license plate tried to evade police by hiding in the bushes. But she couldn't escape the nose of K-9 Blitz. April Spang, 37, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular eluding and theft after a short chase Tuesday morning, Colorado Springs police said. An officer said police attempted to stop the driver of a Nissan Frontier pickup truck with no license plate driving near downtown Colorado Springs around East Las Vegas Street and South Royer Street about midnight.
