PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The city manager of Worcester, Massachusetts, says the community has no intention of using public money to finance a stadium for the Pawtucket Red Sox. Worcester City Manager Edward Augustus said in a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday that he would be open to discussions with the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox if there are options that make use of existing facilities.
