WILKES-BARRE — The owner of an area modular home company pleaded guilty Thursday and was sentenced on charges he defrauded dozens of would-be homeowners who paid for homes and services that were never provided. David D. Valenti, 63, of Glenmaura Drive, Moosic, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and was immediately sentenced to nine to 18 months in county prison followed by 10 years of probation.
