Netflix Inc. is suing Yahoo Inc. CIO Michael Kail, claiming he took kickbacks from IT vendors when he worked at the streaming-video company. Kail left Netflix as vice president of IT operations in August 2014. He joined Yahoo to lead the company's data and infrastructure team as CIO. That made him a key player in Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer's efforts to reinvigorate Yahoo's products.
