Yauatcha Waikiki, an upscale dim sum restaurant located at the International Market Place in Waikiki, will close on Aug. 31, an employee confirmed to Pacific Business News. The restaurant, owned by Hakkasan Group, opened at the beginning of last year and hired about 100 employees. Its sister restaurant, Herringbone Waikiki, is also located at the Waikiki shopping center and will remain open. Foot traffic has been a concern for the eatery, which has one other location in the U.S.
