A half-dozen politically astute young locals are launching Colorado Springs Fresh Perspective to bring diversity to city government. The mission is to get young people, minorities and women onto city boards and commissions - and to help them win election to the City Council in two years. The nonpartisan group isn't looking "for particular points of view," said Tony Gioia, president of the board for Fresh Perspective.
