RALEIGH — A mural painted in N.C. State University's Free Expression Tunnel to honor women’s basketball coach Kay Yow, who died last week after a long struggle with breast cancer, has been defaced.On Saturday, a blue mustache was added to the portrait along with profanity. Campus police are monitoring the tunnel today.Since the 1960s, the tunnel has given students a venue to share opinions on matters personal and global.
