With Batman and Wonder Woman in the mix, it’s easy to forget that director Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs. Superman is first and foremost a Man of Steel sequel. In an interview with Forbes, Snyder opened up about how he got Batman in the mix for his second Superman flick, saying he “subtly” began mentioning the idea of Batman facing Superman in the film. Apparently, Snyder originally toyed with the idea of seeing Bruce Wayne in a scenario where “Maybe at the end of the second movie, some Kryptonite gets delivered to Bruce Wayne’s house or something.
