BANGKOK (AP) — Police say four people died and more than 30 were injured after two trams collided at a zoo in northeastern Thailand. The accident occurred Sunday at the Kao Suan Kwang Zoo in the northeastern province of Khon Kaen. Police Col. Pichit Deeya said all the victims were Thai and that a 2-year-old girl was among those killed. He said one of the tram's drivers lost control due to a problem with the vehicle's brakes and crashed into the tram in front, causing both to overturn.
