Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley sparkle in this tremendous telling of the story of Alan Turing, the cryptology and computer-science pioneer whose work broke Germany's Enigma code during World War II but who later was hounded into suicide by the English government because he was gay. As I say in my video review, this is easily one of the year's best films, and I'm particularly impressed by the work of Cumberbatch and Knightley.
