‘hamilton’ Rings Up $1.9m At Richard Rodgers; Cirque Du Soleil’s ‘paramour’, $1.1m: Broadway Box Office

Cirque Du Soleil’s first made-for-Broadway venture, Paramour, launched the 2016-2017 season last week with a post-opening boost of $219K over Week 52 (notwithstanding a slew of downbeat reviews), ringing up $1.127M at the 1,896-seat Lyric Theatre box office. With the June 12 Tony Awards looming, the Street was up some $2 million over the same week a year ago.
