A $1.4 million proposal to replace a deteriorating water main system south of the Algonquin and Pyott roads will be up for discussion during Tuesday’s Lake in the Hills Committee of the Whole meeting. In October, staff opened five bids for the construction of the project ranging from a $1.469 million offer from Des Plaines-based Mauro Sewer to a $2.155 million proposal.
