2012 Calpers Health Care Rates Proposed

A CalPERS committee on Tuesday recommended health care rate increases averaging 4.1 percent for 2012, the retirement system announced. The recommendation goes to the full Board of Administration on Wednesday. A news release from the California Public Employees' Retirement System said the proposal includes rate increases ranging from nothing for Medicare plans to 5.3 percent for basic HMO plans.
