Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of Walker's Budget Repair Bill

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled late Tuesday afternoon that a Dane County Circuit Court judge overstepped her authority in delaying and voiding Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill that would sharply limit collective bargaining rights for state unionized employees. The high court ruled on a 4-3 vote that the judicial department has no jurisdiction to interfere with legislation.
