BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) — Officials say a 63-year-old woman has died after going snorkeling in Lake Mead. National Park Service officials say the victim, who has not yet been identified, died Sunday after friends reported she had surfaced but was unconscious in the Overton Arm of the lake. Crews from the park service, the Nevada Department of Wildlife and other agencies responded to the scene. The woman was transported by boat to Callville Bay, where medical personnel performed lifesaving efforts but were unsuccessful. The Clark County coroner will confirm the victim's identity and cause of death. The incident comes after a 48-year-old Florida man died after going diving in the lake on Saturday.Read more on NewsOK.com
