Disney's upcoming live-action Aladdin remake will feature a few new songs for some of its main characters. Per Variety, La La Land duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul shared some details about the new songs they've composed for the remake. Working with Alan Menken, who composed the score for the original film, Pasek and Paul wrote a new duet for Jasmine and Aladdin, as well as a new song for Jasmine. “Alan wrote a beautiful piece of music and is incredible,” Paul said. Earlier this year, Pasek and Paul confirmed they were working on two new songs for Aladdin with Menken, who has composed scores for several classic animated Disney movies. Continue reading…
