CREDIT: AP Photo/Don Ryan An algal bloom in Oregon’s Willamette River prompted a health advisory from the Oregon Health Authority Tuesday, with the agency warning Oregon residents not to touch, drink or inhale droplets from the river. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has taken samples of the bloom and is waiting to get back test results, which will determine the species of algae and the amount of algal cells in the bloom.
