'american Watercolor' Showcases Masterpieces Of Movement

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A new exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art explores the rise of watercolor from a disregarded medium seen as best suited for amateurs to its status as an innovative and bold way of expression. "American Watercolor in the Age of Homer and Sargent" gives visitors a rare opportunity to view over 175 masterpieces on loan from public and private collections around the country.
