Critically acclaimed works like "Home," by Marilynne Robinson, and Roberto Bolaño's "2666," as well as a first novel, "The Ballad of Trenchmouth Taggart" by M. Glenn Taylor, are among the finalists for the annual National Book Critics Circle awards, which were announced Saturday at the Housing Works bookstore in SoHo.
