Atlanta is one of five areas across the country where mail is arriving at homes after 5 p.m. more than four days a week – or more than 70 percent of the time, according to a new report by the U.S. Postal Service Office of inspector General. The other areas are Washington DC, Richmond and Arlington, Virginia, and South Florida, reports CNN. The late deliveries are blamed on cost-cutting measures and a shrinking work force, CNN said.
