Outside of its goaltending crease, the Avalanche has been underwhelming in its last three games. The Avs have managed to extend their winning streak to six games and points streak to 12 (11-0-1), but coach Jared Bednar said the last three victories wouldn’t have been possible without goalies Pavel Francouz and Darcy Kuemper, who combined to allow just three goals in that stretch. Kuemper backstopped the last two wins, including Saturday’s 3-2 overtime triumph against the Eastern Conference cellar-dwelling Montreal Canadiens.
