Beauty And The Beast Could Break Opening Weekend Records

Beauty and the Beast is on track to have a huge opening weekend. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the live-action remake will have a $120 million-plus opening. Fandango is also reporting its been selling advance tickets for the film at the same rate as comic book movies. Disney's most successful live-action remake so far has been 2010's Alice in Wonderland, which had a $116.1 million opening weekend. Last year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made $166 million and currently holds the March release window record.
