What started as a search for a sarsaparilla recipe led to the beginnings of a unique brewery in Chicago – Forbidden Root Brewing Company.Forbidden Root, which brews what they call “botanic beers,” recently started distributing their beers in Massachusetts.“What inspired us was a journey to find the perfect sarsaparilla beer, and find out where it came from,” sad Forbidden Root founder and “Rootmaster” Robert Finkel.
