CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) — Authorities say a man's body was recovered from a burning car in a fast-food restaurant parking lot in Cromwell, Connecticut. Firefighters reported that the car was engulfed in flames and smoke when they arrived at 5:40 a.m. Saturday. The body was discovered after the blaze was extinguished. The man's identity was not immediately released. Police tell WFCB-TV that an initial investigation indicates that car accelerated through the McDonald's parking lot until crashing into a brick and concrete structure.
