“On the Road” is a beautiful and mesmerizing film about a young literary icon and his friendships and self-revelations. The film highlights enough detail to capture the essence of youth, and the carefree lifestyles filled with sex, drugs and alcohol of the post-World War II Beat Movement, while still inspiring me to pick up Jack Kerouac’s On the Road and fill in the fine details myself. read more
