By Diana Baldwin, Staff WriterEDMOND — Merchandise, ticket, beverage and catering sales from the 2014 U.S. Senior Open Championship at Oak Tree National brought in $630,813 in additional sales tax money for the city of Edmond and the state of Oklahoma. Calculations of the sales tax categories determined Edmond received $286,733 and the state got the remaining $344,080, said Janet Yowell, Edmond Economic Development Authority executive director. Organizers estimated 130,500 people would attend the seven-day tournament.Read more on NewsOK.com
