Woman attacked in home invasion on New Haven's Wooster Square

NEW HAVEN >> A 25-year-old woman was assaulted inside her basement Wooster Square apartment overnight by an unknown intruder, police said.She was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital and initially was listed in critical condition with wounds to her face and head. Later, police updated her condition and reported she was alert and speaking with investigators.
