On his own label, Third Man Records, White recorded and released a single in just under four hours. That means tracked, produced, pressed, and sold all in half of a workday, which is pretty impressive considering how long the record production process can take. For his efforts, White is now credited with breaking the world record for the record-to-release single, which was previously held by Vollgas Kompanie, a Swiss polka band which, according to Guinness, released a live album the day after it was cut.
