A Columbus SWAT officer killed a man today because, police say, he was holding a knife to his screaming girlfriend’s throat inside a Far West Side home. But family members say the death of 28-year-old Kevin Boozer was really caused by “bath salts,” which they said sent today’s situation spiraling out of control.
