Yikes! "Double Trouble" Only Made $9,000 in HK

Jaycee Chan’s foray into action comedy, a genre his dad Jackie Chan has had huge success in, is turning into a complete and utter dud. In China, “Double Trouble” squeaked out $0.7M before dropping off the top ten. In the U.S., it has grossed $45K in a dozen theaters after a couple of weeks in release. I thought it might do better in Hong Kong, where Jackie had dominated the box office for decades.
