Comment on Great Expectations – review

Acclaimed horror icon Stephen King questions the sense of fun (or lack thereof) in the recent action outing The Fall Guy. Despite underperforming at the box office, The Fall Guy has fared well with critics and audiences, who mostly seem to agree on one thing: The Fall Guy is really, really fun.

Furiosa director George Miller continues to tease his plans for the Mad Max franchise, revealing that his idea for a prequel following Tom Hardys Max Rockatansky across The Wasteland and onto the Fury Road would certainly have a lot of action in it. While this is unlikely to come as much of a surprise to anyone who has seen Mad Max: Fury Road, its exciting to hear that Mad Max: The Wasteland would adhere to the same level of action that made the 2015 outing so captivating.

After securing an Oscar nomination for his leading role in The Hurt Locker, Renner found himself turning into a hot commodity. After picking up another nomination for Ben Affleck's The Town, Renner joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, beginning with a cameo appearance in 2011's Thor.

Fans of Ashley Judd may not care for her latest character all that much, especially at the outset of the new thriller by writer and director Alec Tibaldi, which is titled Lazareth. Its a dark and uncertain time, and in a world reeling from a devastating pandemic, Lee (Judd) will do anything to keep her two orphaned nieces, Imogen (Katie Douglas) and Maeve (Sarah Pidgeon) safe.
