Donald Trump's shoutout to the "late great Hannibal Lecter" is weird on many levels. Since he is still alive, Trump couldn't have meant the actor Anthony Hopkins. And then there's the character, a vicious serial killer who ate his prey. As far as I remember, he didn't die in the films.

A federal judge in Texas (naturally!) blocked a plan by the Biden administration to lower late fees on credit cards to $8 that was slated to go into effect next week.
