Thomason is one of three Democrats running in the reliably blue district, which spans across the central part of the Las Vegas Valley.

As the gentle reader is aware, Monday was Memorial Day. For most of us, it's a day to remember and honor the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of our country.
