Filming 'Wild,' Reese Witherspoon grew up

Reese Witherspoon optioned, produced and stars in 'Wild,' the screen version of the Cheryl Strayed best-selling memoir about a life-changing, 1,100-mile solo hike on the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Oregon, opening Dec. 5. The emotional gravity of the story both enticed and panicked the actress. She says she got so physically and emotionally naked for the role that she had to enlist a hypnotist to help her overcome anxiety.
