Filmmakers, faced with critical and commercial expectations beyond their control, often fall into this uneasy camp. So it's no surprise that, in the documentary "My Life Directed By Nicolas Winding Refn," the Danish filmmaker comes across as heavily self-involved and terrified of failure.
